During the 1930s my father James M. Walker earned his reputation in the Bradford wool trade by fulfilling these ambitions for his customers. Today, my wife Margaret and I are carrying on this tradition through the firm of Adelaide Walker.Established over 25 years ago by Pamela Walker as a dedicated supplier of goodies for handspinners. We now specialise in combed wool tops for the textile craft market.

Most sought after is our much acclaimed South African Merino wool which has been sourced exclusively from the same top quality supplier for more than 20 years. Our range of undyed Merino wool has recently been extended to include an exceptionally fine 17.5 micron top (120s Bradford count). The dyed tops come in an inspiring range of repeatable colours with further interesting shades being introduced periodically.
