Description How to help Algerian Action is a small project which helps to support needy babies and children in Algeria by providing them with clothing, toys and other essentials. Baby essentials- We need bootees, mittens, jumpers, cardigans, vests, hats, blankets and babygros which can be given to new mums and others in need to ensure that the little newborn is kept snuggly and warm. Clothing- We need all types of shoes and clothing that is suitable for children aged 0-14 years. Items can be new, handmade or preloved but they must be clean and undamaged. Toys- We need books, toys and art & craft materials suitable for children of all ages.  Items can be new, handmade or preloved but they must be clean and unbroken. In addition We are currently doing a banket appeal so are asking people to donate either whole blankets or squares which can be made into beautiful patchworks. Squares can be of any size, colour or pattern,knitted or crocheted- all are welcome!   Please contact me for details of where to send donations.  Items may be sent to an address in the UK or Algeria, which ever you prefer. Alternatively if you would like to help by distributing items, holding a fundraiser, promoting the project please get in touch.
