Bewdley Wool Shops

Bewdley is a town in the Wyre Forest district of Worcester along the Severn Valley and quite near to Kidderminster. It has  9 wool shops and the main part of Bewdley town is situated on the west bank of the River Severn.  Bewdley is surrounded by forest and there are many footpaths and cycle routes through the unspoiled woods.

There is a museum in Bewdley, which explores the history of the town and has displays of local crafts such as basketmaking, agriculture and tanning. The 'Discover Bewdley' weekend takes place on the May Bank Holiday weekend. The weekend features artists, events, market stalls - a great weekend to sell your wares. The Bewdley Festival , which has a variety of artistic performances, is held in the town each October, and Bewdley also hosts one of the largest inland river regattas in the country. The successful Bewdley beer Festival is held each August Bank Holiday weekend.
