Different Types Of Knitting
Did you know there are lots of different types of knitting? There's the obvious sort of course with two needles - that's the most popular. But there are some with very strange names - faggoting knitting being one to name a few!
There's Circular needle knitting, which means you don't have to walk round in circles, we promise, it's knitting with just one round continuous needle, so if you're forever getting a needle stuck under your armpit, this could be the one for you! We've done a lot of research and are finding different types of knitting everyday so keep watching and there could be a whole new revolutionary type of knitting just ready made for you.
If you're proficient in knitting already then why not give a new one a try? How about Drop stitch knitting, finger knitting or Spool knitting? There's brioche knitting - this is NOT knitting with bread! Or how about uneven knitting? This could be good if you're not all that good at your knitting yet and you can profess to say you meant to do it and get away scot free.
Other types of wool stitching are medallion knitting, flat knitting and slip stitch knitting to have a go at. For a trip abroad there's also continental knitting but if you've got your feet firmly on home ground then there's the good old home grown English knitting. With so many knitting stitches there's a lot of fun to be had. Knit away and try out a different type of knitting today.
