Pure Tinctoria is owned by textile designer, Alison Daykin, a weaver, spinner and dyer, who firmly believes that we should be caring for our planet every day of our lives.Pure Tinctoria's packageing is as environmentally friendly as Alison can make it, packed in 85% recyled plastic bags and posted out in recyled, unbleached cardboard boxes, packed with shredded newpaper. She uses clear parcel tape which has biodegradable glue and contains no dyes.
Alison runs a variety of course in natural dyeing for Skylark Holidays with her partner, Paul Hunt and is co-author of Creative Spinning with Jane Deane
