My wife and I first started out in the 1960's with a wool shop in Guildford, Surrey. Over the years the business grew and through the 70's knitting was at an all time high! In the early 80's we acquired Pandora a charming old world haberdashers who's then owner had traded in the town for around 40 years. We expanded and developed the shop and specialised in fine knitting yarns and needlework products. In 2001 we were delighted when our son joined us. He now manages the shop and has developed the mail order side of the business.

We are proud to have a team of dedicated staff, many of whom have worked alongside us for more than 20 years. Between us we have a great wealth of specialist knowledge and experience of the hobby craft industry. Our staff are friendly and are always willing to help, without their valuable input Pandora wouldn't be the same.

It is true to say that Pandora, the shop, has been in the craft business for more than 80 years making it somewhat of a rarity in this fast paced ever changing world. We know that It would not have endured the decades if it was not for the relationship it has built with its customers and their continued loyalty and support. To all of you we thank you!
