Description
Welcome to
Textile Holiday Tours
A travel company that offers specialist, small-group textile tours within the UK. A chance to discover and be inspired by the rich variety of textiles, both historic and contemporary, in stately homes, churches, cathedrals, castles, cottages and studios across the UK.
Whether you want to work alongside local textile artists, or simply indulge your passion for textiles, we have the perfect trip for you. All offer an exciting daily itinerary, with relaxing lunches in unique and private locations. The only thing you have to worry about is which trip to choose!
Unique Discoveries
Enjoy exclusive access to a unique variety of textiles not usually seen by members of the public, with a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes, meeting with textile curators and local experts.
Supporting Local Communities
At Textile Holiday Tours we believe in supporting the local economy wherever possible. We use independent hotels, expert local guides and tutors, and visit individually owned enterprises alongside UK-wide organisations such as the National Trust properties.
Passionate About Textiles
I started Textile Holiday Tours because I realised there was a lack of holidays available for people interested in all things textile. I wanted to create a holiday experience for people like me, who love learning about and working with textiles.... I'm pretty sure there are a lot of us out there!
I will be personally escorting each of the tours, not only to ensure your time with Textile Holiday Tours is exciting and worry-free, but also to share with you the textile delights I have discovered.
I look forward to seeing you.
